It really does matter what we believe, it is our principle in life. Because our belief is something that we hold on, something that we love, and something we hope.

Think on these Things

Friday, November 10, 2006

For us to have an encouraging attitude you need to think the things that would benefits you as a person at the same time all the person around you. Formulating and doing this kind of things would lead us into good attitudes. It become a habits that would required action and reaction because it is not just thing that would happen, it is the things that caused.

1. Industry

1Co 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

2. Honesty

Rom 12:17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

3. Quiet Generosity

Mat 6:2 - 4 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

4. Humility

The complete chapter of John 13

5. Love

1Jo 4:16 - 21 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

6. Contentment

1Ti 6:6 - 8 But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

7. Self-Denial

Mat 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

8. Sincerity

Tit 2:7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,

9. Purity

1Ti 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Objections Answered

Wednesday, November 08, 2006

Sharing your faith is not an easy task because we are preoccupied or fears have crept into our hearts. Aside from this people resist us with some of objections against our faith. As a respond we are hesitate to build of bridge because we are afraid and we don't have the skill to answer the objections against us.

Having a Bible knowledge is good enough for us to witness the others. This is the reason why I decided to put the list of objections with an answer from the bible. Here are the following list.

1. Not now – some other time

a. (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) - 2Co 6:2

b. While it is said, Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. - Heb 3:15

c. Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. - Pro 27:1

d. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? - Luk 12:19 -20

2. I am too great a sinner

a. For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. - Luk 19:10

b. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. - 1Ti 1:15

c. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. - Joh 6:37

d. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. - Heb 7:25

3. I am doing the best I can

a. Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.- Rom 3:19 – 20

b. Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: - Rom 3:24

c. Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. - Gal 2:16

4. Afraid I can’t hold out

a. Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, - Jud 1:24

c. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. - Heb 7:25

d. But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? - Heb 10:27 - 29

b. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. - Rom 14:12

c. Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
